Genki Noodles and Sushi’s “Genki-To-Go”
food truck is set to make its official debut on Saturday, July 27, 2013 in
Howell Mill’s food truck park, located at 1850 Howell Mill Road NW. Kicking off
at 4 p.m., the food-fueled afternoon will be filled with Genki’s renowned
Japanese cuisine and on-site activities for attendees. This also benefits the
MS Society.

Children’s Advocacy Center, an organization in Cobb County that provides
important services for children who are the victims of abuse, is hosting the
third annual "Good Eatin' Great Cause" event on August 22 at the Cobb
Galleria Centre. Funds go to support this excellent organization, and attendees
get an evening of delectable samples from well-known chefs of Atlanta from
restaurants such Muss & Turners, Social Vinings, and Alon’s. Guests will
also get to witness an entertaining cooking competition hosted by local chef
Alex Reethof, and judged by other local top chefs, including Carvel Grant Gould

been racking up awards ever since. The other competitors are Ocean Catering,
Atlanta’s Finest, & Pat’s Party Perfect. The first three episodes are
titled “Bones, Balls & Drag Queens,” “Naked Sushi & the Snooty Wedding
Planner,” and “The Circus & the Civil War.”
